Academic Excellence Through Continuous Growth

At Sacramento Jewish Academy, we believe every child has the potential to succeed when they are known, challenged, and supported. Our curriculum is built around clear learning goals, ongoing assessment, and individualized instruction that allows every student to make meaningful academic progress. Small class sizes give our teachers the opportunity to truly understand each child’s strengths, identify areas for growth, and provide the personalized support needed to help every student thrive.

Clear Learning Goals – Our curriculum is built upon clearly defined grade-level standards and learning outcomes that guide instruction in both General and Judaic Studies.

Ongoing Assessment – Teachers regularly monitor student progress through classroom observations, projects, assignments, quizzes, and standardized assessments. In General Studies, we utilize the IXL Diagnostic to measure growth in English Language Arts and Mathematics and identify each student’s current level of achievement.

Individualized Support – Assessment results help our teachers celebrate student strengths, identify learning gaps, and tailor instruction to meet each child’s individual needs. Our small class sizes make it possible to provide timely intervention, meaningful enrichment, and personalized guidance throughout the school year.

A Culture of Growth – Learning is a continuous journey. By regularly reviewing student progress and adjusting instruction, we ensure that every child is appropriately challenged, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Small Class Sizes. Meaningful Relationships. Exceptional Learning.

We believe every child deserves to be seen, supported, and challenged. Our intentionally small class sizes allow teachers to build strong relationships with each student, recognize individual strengths, and provide personalized instruction that helps every child reach their full potential.

Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, our classrooms encourage active participation, thoughtful discussion, and individualized support. Students receive the attention they need to build confidence, ask questions, take academic risks, and develop a genuine love of learning.
