Character & Social-Emotional Learning

At SJA, we place a strong emphasis on social-emotional learning and middot development, helping students grow into kind, confident, resilient, and responsible individuals.

In Kindergarten through 2nd Grade, students use the acclaimed TEAM program, learning to understand their feelings, use appropriate language, and communicate effectively with others.

As students grow, this learning continues through classroom activities, school-wide initiatives, leadership opportunities, and meaningful discussions, with Jewish values and middot woven throughout. Students learn to navigate challenges, build healthy relationships, communicate effectively, and make thoughtful choices.
